Is there any form of art that is not currently knee-deep in examining the changes in our times? Of course not, and photography could not be an exception. Pictures speak a thousand words, and amongst us, there are many that would struggle to describe how this global pandemic is affecting us. Athens Photofestival returns to offer its visitors grounds for relatability through imagery. The work of 108 artists and photographers will be exhibited at the Benaki Museum Pireos Annex, under all necessary measures and precautions. On-site and online events and discussions will aim to inspire and stimulate discussion and exchange on visual culture and the issues of our age. You can also sign up for a portfolio review by international experts, attend an educational lab or a talk, catch a performance or a screening or just simply run through 1.500 photographs at the Athens Photo Marathon. Head over to the festival's website for more detailed information.
